Sherman Avenue Access Control Point (ACP) Fort Leavenworth, Kansas

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District (NWK), issues Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation, Solicitation W912DQ24R4006, for the construction of a new Sherman Avenue Access Control Point (ACP) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. This requirement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.1 - Full and Open Competition, with price evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns (as directed by FAR Part 19.1307) and will result in the award of one Firm-Fixed Price, Design-Bid-Build contract. The general scope of work includes, but is not limited to:

construct and conduct all site work for a new secondary Access Control Point (ACP), consisting of a new gatehouse, guard booths, inspection canopy and shelter, roadways, parking, lighting, traffic control signals, active and passive vehicle barriers, information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) installation, and Energy Monitoring Control Systems (EMCS) connection and other structures as required by the standard design for a secondary ACP. Supporting facilities include site development, utilities and connections, lighting, paving, parking, walks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, information systems, landscaping, and signage.

Amendment 0001 issued 10/11 June 2024: Updates SECTION 00 22 16 and reissues plans/drawings to correct the contract number. PIEE/SAM Update 0002 issued 13 June 2024: Publishes Site Visit documentation.

Amendment 0002 issued 17 June 2024: Updates SECTION 00 22 16 and issues revised plans/drawings Sheets C-112 and C-122.

Amendment 0003 issued 21 June 2024: Extends date for submission of proposals to 10 July 2024 at 1:00 PM local time. PIEE/SAM Update 0005 issued 27 June 2024: PIEE/SAM is updated to reflect proposal due date of 10 July 2024 at 1:00 PM local time.

Amendment 0004 issued 28 June 2024: Updates various SECTIONS, specifications, and issues revised/new plans/drawings.

Amendment 0005 issued 1 July 2024: Issues various updated/revised specs/plans/drawings and extends date for submission of proposals to 15 July 2024 at 1:00 PM local time. Offerors are required to acknowledge receipt of all amendments.
