Combat Maneuver Lab (CML) Systems Preventative Maintenance and Load Testing Support

1. Reason for Request This request is submitted to initiate a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) service contract for the procurement of annual preventive maintenance services and annual load testing for the critical systems within the Combat Maneuver Lab (CML). The covered CML systems include the audiovisual (audio and LED video wall), lighting, rigging, chain motor, and overhead security camera systems.

This contract is vital to ensure that all operational systems remain fully functional, safe, and strictly compliant with industry standards. The Contractor shall perform all scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks—including cabling inspections, software/firmware updates, and calibrations—as well as specialized annual load testing on the CML truss, rigging hardware, and chain motors. Contractor support will be provided at the DEVCOM Soldier Center facility located in Natick, MA.

2. NAICS 541715 -- Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology) 3. Period of Performance & Estimated Cost Five (5) years from the date of award. This will be structured as a Base Year + 4 Option Years contract, utilizing a 5-CLIN structure (CLIN 0001 through CLIN 0005) to cover Year 1 through Year 5 Preventive Maintenance and Load Testing. The estimated cost for this procurement is roughly $10,000.00 per year, for a total estimated contract value of $50,000.00 across the full 5-year period.
