30 OCTOBER 2024-THIS UPDATE IS TO PROVIDE THE BID ABSTRACT.

7 October 2024: SOLICITATION NOTICE UPDATED TO ADD AMENDMENTS 0003 and 0004. SOLICITATION CLOSES ON 17 OCT 2024. The purpose of this amendment is to address the remaining RFI questions. This includes changes to the specs as well as the platform section. The bid closing date remains unchanged. Please indicate receipt of the amendments on the Standard Form 1442, Solicitation, Offer, and Award. Failure to acknowledge all amendments may be cause for rejection of the bid.

With this amendment, this solicitation is considered to be clear. The purpose of this amendment is to address changes in clause, FAR 52.236-27 - Site Visit (Construction). The bid closing date remains unchanged. Please indicate receipt of this amendment on the Standard Form 1442, Solicitation, Offer, and Award as Amendment 0002. 11 SEP 2024: SOLICITATION NOTICE UPDATED TO ADD AMENDMENT 0001, DWG, AND SPECS.

SOLICITATION CLOSES ON 17 OCT 2024. NOTE: SPECS AND DWGS TO FOLLOW AND WILL BE ISSUED VIA AN UPCOMING AMENDMENT. Project Description a. The major items of work to be performed under the Base Bid include but are not limited to the following:

(1) Provide all temporary traffic control in accordance with a Contractor-prepared, DelDOT approved, temporary traffic control plan.

(2) Make concrete repairs on on top of the deck and parapets, as indicated.

(3) Make bridge drainage repairs, as indicated.

(4) Perform miscellaneous steel repairs and replacement, as indicated.

(5) Prepare steel surfaces and apply new coating system to repair areas and other areas as indicated on the drawings, and as specified.

(6) Replace parapets, as indicated.

(7) Prepare surfaces and apply overcoating to other areas as indicated. b. The major items of work to be performed under Option 1 work, if awarded, include but are not limited to the following:

(1) Make concrete repairs on the abutments, piers and underside of deck, as indicated.

(2) Perform joint repairs and replace strip seal joints with new compression joint seal, as indicated.
