The U.S Army Corps of Engineers - Omaha District has issued this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Oahe Indian Creek Cultural Resource Bank Stabilization The solicitation will close on 13 September 2024. This solicitation is restricted to SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY.

Site Visit: A site visit is scheduled for 22 August 2024 at 10:00 AM. Attendance is highly recommended. Contractors interested in seeing the site need to make reservation with LeeJay Templeton by phone at (605) 945-3411 or by e-mail at leejay.j.templeton@usace.army.mil. Contractors are to meet at the Corps of Engineers, 12905 288th Ave, Mobridge, SD 57601 Project Description: This project is for the rehabilitation of a bank stabilization in Walworth County SD adjacent to Lake Oahe/Oahe Dam Project.

The work is located approximately two (2) miles southeast of Mobridge, SD. The exact location of the work will be provided in the solicitation. The work will consist of the rehabilitation of approximately 1,500 linear feet of shoreline herein referred to as “Indian Creek Bank Stabilization”. The work will consist of salvaging and stockpiling the existing rock, reshaping of the embankment slope, placement of geotextile fabric and replacement of stockpiled rock.

The contractor will be limited to the designated areas for operations. Bid Guarantee A bid guarantee in the amount of 20% will be required at the time of bid submission. Magnitude of Disclosure Between $250,000 and $500,000 NAICS Code: The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard for Small Business of $39,500,000.00.
