FY24 GeoVisions South Shore Monitoring

This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 "Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions." U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Warm Springs GeoVisions. The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 and DFARS 206.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements.

Contractor shall provide labor, materials, and equipment to conduct site visits, record current site conditions, provide tribal insight about the religious and cultural significance of sites, and provide recommendations for future site treatments in Wasco and Sherman Counties, OR for USACE. Warm Springs GeoVisions is the only known source having the proprietary knowledge and information required to perform these services. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED.

The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action. The NAICS code is 541990. The size standard is $19.5 million for the NAICS code defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to the contracting officer before the notice end date. If no affirmative written responses are received by the response due date an award will be made without further notice.
