Ventrac Tractor for Racine Locks and Dam General Requirement: Supply a matched 2026 or newer tractor, dual wheel kit, and canopy. Once delivered, all components shall form a matched set, all necessary parts shall be supplied to immediately start using the equipment, and the components shall meet the following specs:
Tractor Requirements: Provide an all-wheel drive tractor with an articulated chassis, 6-gallon fuel tank, and front hitch for accepting attachments.
The tractor shall have an enclosed muffler, a horn, pre-wired plug/play wiring harness, premium comfort seat, an electronic instrument panel, 6-function warning gauge and alarm, on-board diagnostic system, sealed electrical system, thermostatically controlled oil cooler, battery disconnect switch with circuit breaker, automotive style parking brake, universal PTO switch, SDLA operator controls, and a weight transfer system.
Additionally, the tractor shall have all-terrain tires, a rear Category 1 3-point hitch, four rear weights, front fenders, foot pegs, a canopy, a digital slope indicator, and a dual wheel kit for use on steeper slopes.
Engine Requirements: The engine shall have a displacement of 898 cubic centimeters and be rated at a minimum of 25 horsepower with 42 ft/lbs of torque. The engine shall run on diesel fuel and be liquid cooled. The engine shall have a minimum slope ratine of 20 degrees for continuous operation and 30 degrees for intermittent operation.
Warranty: The Contractor shall provide full coverage no deductible warranty for a minimum of two years with unlimited hours. All components of the tractor shall be covered by the warranty. There shall be an equipment manufacturers service facility no further than 100 miles from the project office, and all manufacturers service facilities shall honor the warranty. There shall be no cost for parts or labor during the warranty period. The Government will deliver the machine to the facility for repair and will pick it up once repairs are completed.
