The United States Property and Fiscal Office for Florida (USPFO-FL), Purchasing and Contracting Division, intends to award a sole-source contract under the authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 and FAR 6.302-5(b)(7) – Sole source awards under the WOSB Program to Carcoon America, LLC., 5570 Florida Mining Blvd, Suite 101, Jacksonville, FL 32257. The Florida Army National Guard (FLARNG) is looking for a system(s) than can address corrosion prevention and preserve the Equipment Operation Readiness of major end item equipment.
As part of its comprehensive Corrosion Prevention Program, the FLARNG requires a mobile Controlled Humidity Preservations System (mCHP) which is easily transportable by two or less personnel and capable of employment in austere environments, specifically to provide this corrosion prevention capability for various military equipment.
The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is (314910) with a Small Business Size Standard of 500. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 8340. This Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Contract is not a request for competitive proposals. Any responses or inquiries to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. All information received from this notice shall be used for planning and market research purposes only.
The determination to refrain from competing proposed contracts based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for the preparation of any information submitted or use of such information. Acknowledgement of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the evaluation of the information received. Interested parties may express interest and provide a capability statement no later than 17 September 2024, 11:00 AM EDT. Responses should be addressed to darrin.j.weaver.mil@army.mil.
