NX Nastran / FEMAP Software Services

Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal, Technology Development Directorate – Aviation, located in Fort Eustis, Virginia, intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a sole source basis to Applied CAX, LLC., Cage 7G1V4, 555 SE MLK Jr. Blvd., Suite 105, Portland, Oregon 97214, USA, to provide NX Nastran/FEMAP Analysis Software Annual Licenses with Maintenance Agreement. The period of performance of the purchase order will be 28 months from the date of award.

The anticipated award date is 6 March 2024. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(1)(b). Soliciting from a Single Source.

A justification to not compete this acquisition has been properly executed and is included with this notice. The justification addresses the requirements of FAR 5.207(c)(15), reason for lack of competition. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 541519, Other Computer Related Services with a size Standard of $30M. The PSC is 7F20.
