Piñon Canyon Maneuver Site (PCMS) Post Refuse Service

The 918th Contracting Battalion (CBN) Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), located in Fort Carson, Colorado Springs, CO, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Purchase Order for Purchase Order for Post Refuse Service at PCMS. PCMS is located approximately 32 miles northeast of Trinidad, Colorado and 148 miles south of Fort Carson, Colorado.

The PCMS Refuse Services will be performed at Mile Post 24 on Highway 350, Model, Colorado 81059. Solid Waste Management is a comprehensive approach to managing non-hazardous solid waste that encompasses green procurement, waste prevention, and disposal programs. The Contractor, partnering with the installation, shall determine and utilize the most cost effective Recycle and Solid Waste Management services, emphasizing innovation and commercial best practices, to maximize diversion.

The Contractor shall dispose of all commercial, industrial, and community activity waste in accordance with (IAW) all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. The waste shall be disposed of at a Subtitle “D” Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) landfill located in the State of Colorado and approved and fully permitted by the Department of Environmental Management. The Contractor shall pay all applicable fees associated with disposal.

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is NAICS Code: 562111 Solid Waste Collection. The Product Service Code (PSC) is S205 Trash/Garbage Collection Services. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
