Repairing Transformer at the Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet NY

Northline Utilities(formerly Black & McDonald) has prior experience working on the main substation, giving better insight and higher levels of safety for the work that needs to be done. We request that the same contractor is used for the repair on transformer T2 to keep the equipment connections, tests and practices identical across the redundant transformers of the electrical utility system.

If a fault were to occur at transformer T2, electrical power to all Watervliet Arsenal would be lost, causing severe financial losses and production delays. As such, due to this high risk vulnerabilities that have been identified, sourcing to Northline Utilities(formerly Black & McDonald) provides the haste and expertise that is needed to stay ahead of any emergency situations.

Contractor To provide all labor, materials, tools, parts and equipment to Replace Bus Bars in Main Substation Transformer 2. All work will be performed in accordance with Statement of Work under Project #25PW028.
