SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS NOTICE IS MARKET RESEARCH TO SUPPORT INCLUSION OF SOLE SOURCE (BRAND NAME) SPECIFICATIONS IN A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT – FTG240 IDT2 FACILITY UPS AND ECU REPLACEMENT, FORT GREELY, ALASKA - AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Alaska intends to specify the below listed items as part of a larger construction contract to be executed on Fort Greely, Alaska.

A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, for the specific items listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference FAR 6.302-1(c), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - Application for brand name descriptions.” Items: 1. Eaton F- Frame (FDE) low voltage molded case circuit breakers.

New Eaton F-Frame (FDE) molded case circuit breakers will be required for installtion in the existing Eaton panelboards. Sole-sourcing the Eaton F-frame (FDE) molded case circuit breakers will ensure compatibility, consistent functionality, selective power system coordination, and maintenance concerns with the Eaton power panelboards. THIS NOTICE IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.

No solicitation will be available as these sole source items will be incorporated into the specifications of a FY24 solicitation for a Sustainment Restoration Modernization (SRM) project on Fort Greely, Alaska. Vendors who offer the above items which can meet all of the above functional criteria are invited to respond to this notice. Responses must include the following information:

1. Identification of the manufacturer’s name, address, and country of product manufacture.

2. Fully detailed specification sheets.

3. Narrative addressing how your product meets the salient features listed above. Please send responses to Jason.Linn@usace.army.mil.
