Joint Assault Bridge Industry Day

The Product Manager Bridging (PdM Bridging) is continuing production of the Joint Assault Bridge (JAB), consisting of the production and integration of the Bridge Launch Mechanism (BLM) onto the M1A1 Abrams chassis (with Heavy A2 suspension upgrade) in order to procure the remaining Army Acquisition Objective (AAO). Committed to Fair and Open Competition and to open up lines of communication, the Government is planning an Industry Day event to present the details associated with the continued production of the JAB.

This event is an opportunity for the Government to express its goals, plans, schedule and to solicit feedback from industry. The JAB Follow-On Industry Day is scheduled for 11 April 2024 at Selfridge Air National Guard Base (SANGB) in Harrison Township, Michigan.

A Government Information Brief will take place in the morning at the SANGB Auditorium in Building 1414. A JAB system will not be present at SANGB, however for those interested, the Government can coordinate a site visit to Fort Leonard Wood, MO to see a physical JAB system. Interested Prime vendors will then be offered a private one-on-one session to ask questions and provide feedback during the afternoon.
