Vacuum Furnace Cell

Amendment 0001:

1. The purpose of this amendment is to provide responses to responses to questions submitted by vendors, found in document Questions and Answers for Vacuum Furnace - AMD 0001. Additionally, to provide the updated Attachment 0001 - RIPD E4000-26-3-31 Vac Furnace, where graphite has been removed from the scope, and to clarify a solicitation discrepancy to confirm that this requirement is 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside.

2. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. 

- End of AMD 0001 Narrative - 

Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) has a requirement for a Vacuum Furnace, capable for heat treament of 3D Build Plates. The system will include the vacuum furnace and all supporting equipment necessary for safe efficient operation including but not limited to a furnace cooling package, a 1000-lb loader system, an intert gas backfill reservoir, a temperature uniformity survey fixture and a spare parts kit. This effort is anticipated to result in a single award, firm fixed price (FFP), 100% set-aside for small business. Furnace specifications and procedures shall be in accordance with Attachment 0001 - RIPD.
