Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is seeking potential sources of supply for Propelling Charge Support for the 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm programs. The contract is projected to be a base year plus 100% option. The quantities are estimated below:
60mm Propelling Charge Support: 5,500 each 81mm Propelling Charge Support: 19,100 each 120mm Propelling Charge Support: 142,400 each Below is a list of drawings associated with each item:
60mm Propelling Charge Support: 60mm Propelling Charge Support, in accordance with (IAW) drawings 13007973 Revision E dated 12 December 2011, and 13019277 dated 28 August 2007; and IAW QAP 13007973 dated 24 November 2008. 81mm Propelling Charge Support: 81mm Propelling Charge Support, IAW drawings 12977198 Revision G dated 5 September 2013, and 9369929 Revision G dated 18 March 2009; and IAW QAP 12977198 dated 16 March 2009. 120mm Propelling Charge Support: 120mm Propelling Charge Support, IAW drawings 13038345 dated 24 August 2011, 13038346 Revision B dated 3 October 2019, 13038347 dated 24 August 2011, 13038348 dated 24 August 2011, 13038349 Revision A dated 10 November 2021, 13038350 dated 24 August 2011, and 12952066 Revision g dated 10 November 2021; and QAP 13038345 Revision A dated 13 June 2013. First Article Testing is required.
The contractor shall provide ten pieces per mold cavity for First Article verification. Material certifications are required for FAT and for each lot shipped to PBA for each component of the assembly.
The drawings for this requirement are restricted and is available by requesting access via SAM.gov. The vendor shall select the link of the drawings and complete the necessary information requested to gain access. The vendor’s Data Custodian MUST be the one requesting access. Vendors MUST enter CAGE Code or will be rejected.

Provide a capabilities statement.
Provide estimated First Article Testing (FAT) timeline of ten pieces per mold cavity – FAT delivery XX days after date of contract. Provide estimated production timeline of quantities listed above - 60mm Propelling Charge Support: 5,500 each, 81mm Propelling Charge Support: 19,100 each, 120mm Propelling Charge Support: 142,400 each, XX days after FAT approval. Submit organization name, CAGE Code, business size/classification, point of contact, and contact information.
Delivery shall be FOB Destination: Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, AR. The respondent should provide sufficient details to the government so as to make a reasonable assessment on the capability. This information is for reference and planning only, and the Government will not pay for any information submitted or for cost associated with providing this information. Proprietary responses will be protected in accordance with the markings.
The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) codes for these items is 325920 - Explosives Manufacturing. This is for MARKET RESEARCH ONLY. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. The information you provide will only be utilized by ACC-RI in developing its acquisition approach. All proprietary and competition sensitive information should be clearly marked.
