Elevator Repairs and Maintenance Services

This is a Sources Sought Notice for the purpose of identifying potential sources possessing the capabilities, experience, and expertise necessary for Elevator Repair and Maintenance Services for the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. This notice is for information and planning purposes only.

The Government is looking for a contractor to provide Elevator Maintenance and Support for the operation, preventative maintenance, and unscheduled repairs of passenger and freight elevators located in various buildings on the Rock Island Arsenal. The contractor shall provide the necessary management, supervision, personnel, labor, generalized, or specialized equipment necessary and all parts for the maintenance and repair of all elevators on the Rock Island Arsenal.

This Notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, a Request for Quotes, or an indication the Government will contract for the items contained in this announcement. This request is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request.

The Government will not reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this announcement. However, information obtained as a result of this announcement may be reflected in subsequent solicitation, this announcement is Government market research, and may result in revisions to both its requirements and its acquisition strategy based on industry responses.

Note: The attached performance work statement is in draft form and is subject to change. Please provide a capability statement to include supporting information and documents to include experience and past performance to support the vendor’s ability to perform this requirement in accordance with Attachment 0001 – RIA Elevator PWS – Draft. The capability statement should include company name, address, a point of contact (name, phone number, and email address), Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, company size standard and/or socio-economic standing.
