PROJECT SUMMARY: Tooele Army Depot (TEAD) has a projected requirement to furnish all labor, material, and equipment needed to fully manage and perform all operations for the collection and transportation of refuse and single-stream recyclable material.
Single-stream recycling consist of aluminum cans and foil; Aseptic packaging and gable top containers (milk and juice cartons); Steel and tin cans; Plastics (#1 through 7); Paper Fiber (newspaper, cardboard, Kraft bags, magazines, catalogs, office and computer paper, notebook, chipboard, carrier stock, junk mail and envelops, paperback and hard cover books). The contractor shall transport all recyclable material collected to a recycle collection/recycler company.
The contractor shall transport all refuse collected to the Utah State approved solid waste disposal facility under contract with TEAD. All licenses, taxes, and permits required by local, state, or federal governments shall be the contractor’s responsibility. Landfill fees for the actual tonnage disposed shall be the Government’s responsibility. Services provided shall be according to the specifications contained herein and current local, state, and federal regulations. The contractor is responsible for all transportation costs.
