Repair Water Distribution Feeder Mains/Water Treatment Plant

The Army Contracting Command – Rock Island is issuing this sources sought notice for a project to repair by replacement the existing water main from the water treatment plant (WTP) to the distribution system, install a redundant connection from the WTP to the water distribution system, construct water main changes to support the work, and construct the internal plumbing changes in the WTP to support the redundant feed pipes.

The Contractor shall be required to commence work under this contract within 14 working days after the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed, prosecute the work diligently, and complete the Scope of Work in 270 Working Days. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in the response.

The Government will not reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this announcement. The Government will not accept request for meetings or briefings. No phone solicitations or email with regards to the status of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be accepted prior to the solicitation release.

However, information obtained as a result of this announcement may be reflected in subsequent solicitation, this announcement is Government market research, and may result in revisions to both its requirements and its acquisition strategy based on industry responses. Interested sources should provide responses which illustrate their capabilities, experience, and expertise no later than 2:00 P.M.
