The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The 106th Rescue Wing of the New York Air National Guard intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK Deicer Repair: Troubleshoot and repair deicer heater faults in Global Ground Support Deicer…..GL-1800 AP……NSN #1730-01-470-8055 (one is a 2003 and the other a 2006) . Troubleshoot and repair Heater engine RPM jumping fault. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis only. This SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.

Gabreski Air National Guard Base (106th RQW) is seeking potential small business sources (including Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a) etc. Contractor is required to perform inspection, service, required maintenance/repairs and certifications of all equipment listed in the PWS (attachment 1) .

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform maintenance inspections, testing, load testing and provide certifications for all inspections and tests performed on both vehicles. All repairs are in accordance with approved manufacturer recommendations and parts.

Work location will be at 150 Old Riverhead RD, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978. Upon completion of each inspection, maintenance and load test, the contractor shall complete a comprehensive written report for each piece of equipment to be provided to POC within 30 days of completion. No solicitation is currently available. Qualified Small Business sources should respond and include the following information:

1. Offerors name, address, Point of Contact, telephone number, and e-mail address.

2. Offerors business size to include designation as SDVOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, 8(a), etc.

3. Statement of Capability (SOC) is limited to 5 pages. Although not required you may use the RFI form (attachment 2) and return to us prior to the deadline. See attached DRAFT Description of Service. Responses must be received no later than Thursday, 10 JAN 24, 4:00 PM Eastern. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted. Information shall be provided via email to:
