Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Advantor VMS Server Upgrade

The 181st Intelligence Wing, Indiana Air National Guard intends to pursue a single source purchase order under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), due to only one source being capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. The requirement is for the purchase and installation of Advantor 81TB VSM Video Nodes to upgrade current VMS storge capabilities.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement.

All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government, however review of information proposed by interest parties may not preclude the Government from continuing with sole source award. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

If no responsible, responsive offers are received by the above date, a sole source contract will be pursued with ADVANTOR SYSTEMS CORPORATION under the authority of FAR 13.106. Capability statements are due no later than 2 August 2024 by 1:00PM Eastern Standard Time. To ensure your response along with any and all attachments are received, attachment(s) must be less than 10 MB [in total]. It is the responsibility of the offeror to contact the government to confirm receipt prior to the offer due date and time.
