Rapid Deploying Military Tents and Shelters

Synopsis: This is a Sources Sought announcement, a market survey for information only to be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICIATATION FOR QUOTATIONS AND A CONTRACT WILL NOT BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS.

The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (Hub-Zone), Woman-Owned Business (WOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. All interested parties are highly encouraged to respond.

No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The Government will use responses to this sources sought to make an appropriate acquisition decision. The 182d Airlift Wing may issue a solicitation and award a firm-fixed price contract to " Rapid Deploying Military Tents and Shelters" subject to availability of funds. Location of project:

182d Airlift Wing, Peoria, Illinois Description of Project: Rapid Deploying Military Tents and Shelters All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a quotation as a prime contractor not later than 4:00pm CST on Friday, June 14, 2024. This notification shall not exceed five (5) typed pages, and must include the following:

Positive statement of intent to quote as a prime contractor; Completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request form; Listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for Government and Private industry. The type of project, dollar value, contract number, location, and point of contact are to be included.

Indicate if you were a prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor; and Brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted. Information shall be provided via email to:
