Description

As published on SAM.gov.

Scope: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary, except as specified in Paragraph 3.0 as Government Furnished, to provide preventative maintenance on the D-21 Emergency Management system both at the 139th Fire Department and redundant client at the the139th Civil Engineering facility, as defined in this PWS.

Background: As the installed Monaco system grows in both size and complexity, it is important to keep personnel up to date on training and ensuring all software is updated to the latest releases. In addition, preventative maintenance on the D-21 Emergency Management system can extend the life of the equipment and reduce possible downtime. Sensitive electrical components are easily damaged from excessive heat and moisture; regular maintenance can reduce the chances that these irritants may cause a total system failure. Preventative maintenance saves the government time and money along with safeguarding sensitive data while increasing system performance.

Period of Performance (PoP): 365 calendar days (1 year) from the date of contract award with 3 option years.

Place and Performance of Services: Performance shall be at the 139AW Rosecrans Field, St. Joseph, MO. The contractor shall at all times maintain an adequate work force for the uninterrupted performance of all tasks defined within this PWS. When hiring personnel, the contractor shall keep in mind that the stability and continuity of the work force are essential. Telecommuting is authorized as necessary.
