***AMENDMENT 3: The solicitation is amended to make changes to the attached solicitation (26Q0020 A00003 High Density Mobile Shelving). All changes are highlighted. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

***AMENDMENT 2: The solictation is amended to address a question from an interested party:

Question 1: Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) exists in a high seismic zone. What are the seismic considerations and anti-tip requirements for this solicitation on the High-Density Mobile Shelving (HDMS)?

Answer 1: 

1. Compliance with Safety Regulations: The contractor is solely responsible for ensuring that all proposed equipment, designs, and installations strictly comply with all applicable local, state, national, and military safety codes, building regulations, and industry standards (including, but not limited to, OSHA and manufacturer safety specifications).

2. Seismic Calculations & Permitting: Specialized seismic-rated structural calculations, localized structural Professional Engineer (PE) stamps, and building permits are not required to be submitted to the government as a deliverable under this solicitation.

3. Anti-Tip & Floor Anchoring: To satisfy the safety requirements of the installation, the contractor must provide standard floor-anchoring and manufacturer-approved anti-tip mechanisms to ensure the high-density mobile shelving system is stable, securely anchored, and fully safe for daily military operations.

All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

***AMENDMENT 1: The solictation is amended to add details for a site visit. Site visit will be conducted on Thursday, 24 Sept @ 1430 Alaska time. Address for the site visit: 17470 Airlifter Drive (Hangar 18), JBER, AK 99506. Please coordinate prior with the government (phone or email) of intent to attend site visit, and if base access is required.
