CNC Vertical Knee Mill and 18 inch Machine Lathe

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number W31P4Q-24-Q-0013 is set aside 100 percent for Small Business. The corresponding NAICS code for this procurement is 333517 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone is soliciting quotes for the purchase of the following:

One (1) each – CNC Vertical Knee Mill (Lagun Machine Tool Millmatic III or similar) with 3-axis control (Fagor 8058 or similar) One (1) each - 18” Machine Lathe (Lagun Machine Tool American Turnmaster AT-1860 or similar) One (1) each - Delivery and installation in a facility located within Test Area 10 of Redstone Arsenal AL. SEE Attachment labeled TDD RMAC 24-9 Mill and Lathe Technical Requirements Amend 12Aug24 for Technical Specifications.

The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award.

All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, with the offer. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the items offered to meet the Government requirement, price, and delivery. All items shall include shipping costs FOB Destination to Redstone Arsenal, AL.
