12 Gauge Breaching, M1030 (AA54) Ammunition Cartridges

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ in support of Project Manager – Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS) issued a contract for the production of the Cartridge, 12 Gauge, Breaching M1030 (AA54). The 12 Gauge Breaching cartridge shall be compatible for use in the Mossberg Models 500/590, Remington 870 and Benelli M1014. It is intended for training exercises or use in combat by the warfighter.

The M1030 has the capability to defeat grade 2 locking mechanisms and standard 4- inch residential hinges, or equivalent, without producing significant fragmentation that could injure the gunner. The Contractor shall manufacture, test, inspect, package, and deliver the 12 Gauge Breaching M1030 Cartridges in accordance with Military Specification MIL-PRF-32300A W / AMENDMENT 3, which shall be the governing document / requirement. Realistic Estimate and Maximum limit: The realistic total quantity of rounds to be purchased against this contract is estimated as follows:

1,000,000. The maximum limit of the contractor's obligation of quantity to deliver is 1,680,000.

Contract Type and Price: This award is for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements contract with five, one year ordering periods The five Ordering Periods (OPs) for this requirement are as follows:

Ordering Period 1: 5 September 2024 - 4 September 2025 Ordering Period 2: 5 September 2025 - 4 September 2026 Ordering Period 3: 5 September 2026 - 4 September 2027 Ordering Period 4: 5 September 2027 - 4 September 2028 Ordering Period 5: 5 September 2028 - 4 September 2029
