MK 41 VLS Electronic Design Agent Ceiling Increase

Modification to contract N00024-20-C-5392 for MK41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) Electronics Design Agent on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Corporation (LM), Moorestown, NJ for a ceiling increase on a sole source basis. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency (Navy) if received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis. Any submissions will not be reimbursed by the Government -- the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the information.

A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
