MK 41 VLS Electronics Depot and Design Agent (FY25-FY29) Industry Day

UPDATE (08/09/2024): Corrected dates for Industry Day below The MK 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) Electronics Depot Industry Day is scheduled from 18 September – 19 September 2024 at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD), Port Hueneme, CA. This is a follow-on to the Design Agent industry day held in November 2023. That industry day focused on the VLS Electronic and Mechanical Design Agent requirements.

In response to industry feedback, the Government now plans to split out the Electronics Depot requirements from the rest of the Electronics Design Agent requirements. Offerors will be permitted to bid separately on the Electronics Depot requirements. Therefore, this industry day will primarily focus on the Electronics Depot requirements. However, parties interested in the Electronic and Mechanical Design Agent requirements are permitted to attend and discuss those requirements with the Government.

The Government intends to provide a draft updated solicitation for industry review and comment in advance of the Industry Day. The Industry Day will consist of a general presentation to industry (Day 1) on 18 September 2024 with all interested industry participants. At the conclusion of the general presentation, interested industry participants will be provided with an opportunity to view MK 41 VLS equipment and discuss technical questions with subject matter experts.

The remainder of Day 1 (18 September) and Day 2 (19 September) of the Industry Day will be reserved for tours and one-on-one splinter meetings with interested industry participants. Include the Point-of-Contact's name, telephone number, company, names of the attendees. Interested parties are limited to six attendees per respondent. Recording devices are not permitted. Companies interested in tours and one-on-one splinter meetings should plan to be available for both days. Offerors with a known conflict on one of the days may notify the Government of the conflict in advance, but it is not guaranteed that the Government will be able to arrange the schedule to accommodate that Offeror.
