The purpose of this requirement is to provide Lender-Placed Insurance on properties financed through Rural Development (U.S. Department of Agriculture) housing programs to mitigate risk to RD’s portfolio of properties when the borrowers fail to provide adequate insurance themselves. Please see the Performance Work Statement for specific tasks and details.
