This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is USCG-SPS-0008 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

Description of Requirement: The James Island bar light functions intermittently. This is caused by a faulty remote communications system from the Station to the generator located on James Island. The current system used to control the generator is made by Cattron Dynagen. Dynagen model NA400 is the controller located on base used to operate the generator remotely (located on James Island). The generator controller is a Dynagen GSC400. There are signal/modem boosters made by B&B Electronics, model Zlinkx Xtreme.

Description of Tasking: Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, and tools. Additionally other items and services necessary to clear all faults and repair connections to the generator remote communications system, which includes:

Troubleshooting to Identify the cause of intermittent failure between the system located at the base and the island. Repair/replace damaged wires, or electrical components. If unable to identify the problem, provide recommendations. On-site troubleshooting (not to exceed 24 hours) A list of the items can be found in the Statement of Work attached to this solicitation. This contract will be awarded based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.

Location of Work: 350 Main Stree La Push, WA 98350. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, transportation. Arrangement with the local tribe to access the island is required. Coordinate with POC provided on the Statement of Work. . The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC# 2023-05 Effective Date 08/08/2023, HSAR 6/21/2023, HSAM OCTOBER 2009, CGAP Change Notice 2023-05.

SERVICE CONTRACT ACT WD # 2015-5577 REVISION # 23 LAST REVISED DATE DECEMBER 26, 2023 APPLIES. Instructions to offerors, evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for SMALL BUSINESS. The associated NAICS code is 2211.
