The Navy Region Southwest (NRSW) Qualified Recycling Program (QRP) is currently accepting bids for a one-year term sale agreement for Scrap Lead Acid Batteries.

Below is a brief overview of the sale details:

  • Material: Scrap Lead Acid Batteries (including automotive, forklift, airplane, metal encased, and small batteries).

  • Estimated Volume: Approximately 34,000 pounds annually.

  • Location: Naval Weapons Station (NWS) Seal Beach (including pick-up sites at Det. Fallbrook and NAVSEA Norco).

  • Inspection Period: March 26, 2026, through April 9, 2026. To schedule a material inspection, please contact Christian Dominguez at (619) 719-3792 or christian.dominguez.naf@us.navy.mil.

  •  Bid Deadline: April 16, 2026, strictly no later than 2:00 P.M. Pacific Time.
