Parts for Laser Engraver Machine

This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT / MARKET RESEARCH notice to request information for Government planning purposes only. UNICOR is seeking to gain knowledge of the interest, competition adequacy and technical capabilities of commercial vendors to supply the below repair parts for a potential future acquisition. All information in this request is considered confidential and shall not be used by the Respondent for any reason other than responding to this request. Your response is NOT an offer.

Do NOT submit proposals or offers. RESPONDING TO THIS RFI WILL NOT RESULT IN A CONTRACT OF ANY TYPE. Responses to this RFI are regarding the technical capabilities to supply Repair Parts for an Epilog Laser Engraver. Epilog Model B Tube (RCO199)-STEP MOTOR SZ23 (MTO312)-PCB,X-AXIS,M18/24/H/F Small businesses are encouraged to respond. This request does not obligate UNICOR to pay any cost that any Respondent incurs in the preparation of its response.

All cost associated with the preparation of a response to this request will be borne solely by the Respondent. Participants are still required to follow any procurement process that may take place in the future. If a solicitation is released, it will be advertised in under “Contracting Opportunities” in SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of potential offerors/bidders to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation. All submitted responses shall become the property of UNICOR and will not be returned.

The government requests that no proprietary or confidential business data be submitted in a response to this notice. However, responses that indicate the information therein is proprietary, it will be properly safeguarded for Government use only. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. To aid the agency, please segregate any proprietary information.

Companies that believe they possess the capabilities to provide the required parts should submit documentation of their ability to meet each of the requirements to the Contracting Officer.
