The Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory is seeking qualified sources capable of providing a "door drive repair solution" for a defective chain drive system utilzed to open and close a small aircraft hagar sized door. This procurement will require the reconditioning of a Tritium seal door. The door is 28 ft high by 22 ft wide, weighs 408,000 pounds and is operated by a chain drive system. The requirement to recondition the door chain drive so that it operates the door as originally designed.

Air operated seals are excluded from this reconditioning scope. Additional drawings will be provided upon request (serious inquiries only) Parties interested in participating in a solicitation to repair this equipment should contact Jimmy Russell via email: Jrussell@pppl.gov
