Campus and Leased Facilities Patching, Painting and Drywall Restoration Services

The Subcontractor shall prepare surfaces for patching and painting in accordance with industry standards. This shall include, but is not limited to:

inspecting and approving surfaces prior to paint, patch or repair, wall prep for all areas to be included along with surface protection at carpet, base, grid, cubicles, and frame; prescribe a methodology for measuring surfaces for the purposes of estimating and submitting proposals for painting and repairs. Fire barriers are a critical component of a building’s passive fire protection strategy and may be included in the building construction for various reasons. To maintain the required fire-rated separation between occupancies or areas, damaged systems must be repaired so that they are restored to their original fire-resistive condition.
