Notice of Intent to Sole Source Automated Dispensing Modules

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) intends to issue a noncompetitive contract to Applied Design Corp, 5311 Western Ave, Ste 131, Boulder, Co 80301 (UEI: MPKSZMEK7332). The one-time purchase order is for the procurement of two (2) Automated Dispensing Modules (ADM) used in Brown Tree Snake baiting operations. See attached justification for limited source under simplified procedures (FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)).

The Government contemplates the award of a firm fixed-price contract. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a response which shall be considered by the agency. Responses must be received no later than 10:00am CST on September 20, 2024. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Respondents should ensure the information provided is detailed, current, accurate, and complete. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 333999 with a small business size standard of 550 employees.
