Volvo Generator Set

This solicitation has been amended to adjust to solication date. The Total Small Business Set-Aside and Unrestricted / Full and Open competition still apply. Generator set is to be Brand Name only. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime Norfolk at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single Award Contract for the items listed below. The award determination will be lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). The required items are for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Part 13 and FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The Contract Line Items (CLINs) are as follows:

CLIN 4040-5136-0001 QTY 1 EA BRAND NAME ONLY - VOLVO GENERATOR SET, PART# T4D - 6000, 600KW, STANDBY/570KW PRIME 277/480V, 3PH 60HZ TIER 4 FINAL VOLVO DIESEL FUEL DRIVEN OPEN GEN-SET (NO ENCLOSURE). THE GENERATOR CONTROLLER IS TO BE EQUIPED WITH A DEEP SEA ELECTRONICS, DSE7420 OR UPDATED VERSION, MICROPROCESSOR BASED GEN-SET CONTROLLER. UNIT IS TO BE EQUIPED WITH AN SCR CATALYST/SILENCER-DOES NOT NEED TO BE INSTALLED.

CLIN 4040-5138-0002 QTY 1 EA LOAD BANK, 600KW LOAD WITH CABLES FOR OPERATION, PART# 600KW CLIN 4040-5139-0003 QTY 1 EA STORAGE TANK, FUEL CUBE DOUBLED WALLED 119 GALLON NON-HAZMAT FUEL STORAGE TANK, PART# FCS119 This requirement will be solicited as FULL AND OPEN competition. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 335999: All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing. The Product Service Code is 5975, Electrical Hardware and Supplies.

The anticipated delivery date for this acquisition is 90 DAYS after contract award. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form only. The solicitation number is SPMYM124Q0147 and shall be filled out and due by 2:00 PM EST on 19 SEPTEMBER 2024.
