This unrestricted acquisition is for a firm fixed-price quotation for NSN 8150-01-463-8553, 20'L X 8’W X 8'6"H CARGO CONTAINER WITH ONE SET OF LOCKING STEEL DOUBLE-END SWING DOORS ON ONE END. When published the solicitation number is SPE8ED-26-Q-0243. The requirement will be issued in accordance with FAR 13.5. Containers must comply with ISO standards. SURPLUS CONTAINERS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS In addition to the end-item requirements found in the PID/item description of the solicitation, please see the requirements below:

NO SECURING DEVICES OR HARDWARE INSTALLED IN THE FLOOR. All containers received shall not have any floor mounted securing devices and/or hardware. ANTI-RACK HARDWARE SHALL BE MADE OF GALVANIZED STEEL. COLOR Federal Standard 595 (FED-STD-595/34094 Camo-Green) with ISO markings in white. USE Shipping and Storage QUANTITY 64 with quantity price breaks. SHIP TO ADDRESS 402ND AFSBN-HAWAII 3086 Lyman RD SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, HAWAII 96857 POC and Serial Numbers will be provided upon award.

Off-loading equipment is available. DELIVERY NOTICE REQUIREMENTS The contractor shall provide the delivery location POC’s with an estimated delivery schedule 30 days before delivery of any containers. Call the Delivery POC at least 24 hours prior to shipment to confirm delivery instructions. QUOTE SUBMISSION The DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) electronic upload is the sole method of quote submission.

A copy of the solicitation will be made available via DIBBS, https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil./ DIBBS is a web-based application that provides the capability to search for, view, and submit secure quotes for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) items of supply. Mailed offers, e-mailed offers, hand-carried offers and facsimile offers are NOT authorized for receipt of initial proposals.

However, in the event of solicitation amendments, clarifications and/or negotiations, revisions to the initial proposal are hereby authorized via email responses to anna.lake@dla.mil and/or nazlah.nash-mitchell@dla.mil. A solicitation will not be emailed to interested parties. All interested parties must access SPE8ED-26-Q-0243 via DIBBS. If the offeror is unable to timely upload its proposal in DIBBS, this will not constitute an acceptable excuse to submit a late offer.
