SHELTER MOBILE SYSTEM AND ACCESSORIES

The Defense Logistics Agency is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support requirements for the Sharkcage items listed in the attached. These include:

Support, Shipping and Storage Container Shelter Mobile System Utility Area Shelter System Modification Kit, Shipping and Storage Cover STF Camouflage Cover STF Reversible Modular Storage and Transport Cover Modular Storage Shelter Mobile System, Intermodal Storage See the attachment for more details. The requirements are sole sourced to Sharkcage, Inc., cage code 54TC1. DLA Troop Support is researching the possibility of issuing a solicitation for the items under a Long-Term Type Contract.

If an award is made, the award will not exceed a period of five (5) years. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This notice should not be construed as a commitment by DLA Troop Support for any purpose. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The Government will NOT PAY for any information submitted by respondents in response to this Sources Sought Notice.

If a solicitation results, it will be synopsized on the “Contract Opportunities” website at SAM.gov and it will be the offeror’s responsibility to monitor the Contract Opportunities website for any such notices. Interested contractors will be required to submit a complete technical data package, which will be forwarded to the Engineering Support Activity (ESA) for review. This technical package must include a copy of the original manufacturer’s drawings for comparison by the ESA.
