The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about March 8, 2024, to perform environmental remediation services at Whittier, AK. The requirements for Whittier, AK include the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the remediation system. Interested companies responding to the solicitation will be required to register in System for Award Management (SAM) and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
A Sources Sought Notice was previously published on SAM.gov under SPE603-24-R-5X01 on October 5, 2023. The period of performance is a four-year base period from September 11, 2024, through September 10, 2028, and a six month extension provision from September 11, 2028, through March 9, 2029. The Government anticipates awarding one firm fixed-priced contract. This procurement will be a Small Business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 562910 size standards.
This is not an RFP or a promise by the Government to pay for information received in response to this synopsis or any subsequent announcement. This information is subject to modification and in no way binds the Government to award a contract.
