Solicitation SPE4AX24R0022 will be issued as a Letter Request for Proposal to Derco, A Lockheed Martin Company. The 32 items in the letter solicitation anticipated to be issued are being added to The Lockheed Martin Captains of Industry Contract (COI) SPE4AX16D9473, which was awarded to Lockheed Martin (563J1) in accordance with the approved J&A. The NIINs will be added to the SIO Subsumable, SPE4AX20D9403.
SPE4AX20D9403 replaces SPE4AX17D9409 which was originally awarded in April 2017. SPE4AX20D9403 is currently in the five year option period. The list of NSNs included in this notice are part of the Supplier Initiated Ordering (SIO) population of the contract, which includes metrics and/or functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting and delivery. Surplus dealers and distributors are invited to respond to this synopsis.
Surplus dealers should include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material or adequate traceability documentation to show that the product is acceptable. Responses to this announcement from distributors or surplus dealers should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items for the contract period as identified. In addition, respondents should identify the quantity available and price.
Any manufacturer, other than the approved source, wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval package and a complete solicitation package. A copy of the letter of interest should be forwarded to the contracting officer identified herein and SBA PCR. The Government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government.
