DLA Aviation intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 13.5. This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria. Description of requirements:

Upgrade To California Heating Equipment Model MODEL: 10’ x 5’ x 3’ SOLUTION FURNACE/2092 Drop Bottom Furnace in accordance with Technical Specification VIBB 25-40-1014. Performance period/completion 210 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Destination is Fleet Readiness Center Southwest, Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, CA.

The complete technical data package VIBB 25-40-1014 including machine, training, technical data, IUID tag, gantry crane system, installation, and Shipping requirements will be included as a part of the solicitation. THIS IS A SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. RFQ SPE4A8-26-Q-0022 is anticipated to be issued on or around 24 March 2026. A copy of the written solicitation will be available via the DLA DIBBS website at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/Solicitations.

Proposals must be submitted not later than the closing date and time as listed. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management website (https://www.sam.gov). All proposals received after the closing date listed shall be considered “late” and may not be considered for award.
