DLA Aviation intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 13.5. This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria.

Description of requirements: One (1) five (5) axis CNC Universal Horizontal Machining Center (G750 Generation 2) in accordance with Technical Specification VIBB 24-30-1205 dated 16 June 2025. Performance period/completion 365 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination, Inspection will be at Origin, and Acceptance at Destination. Destination is Fleet Readiness Center East, MCAS Cherry Point, NC.

The complete technical data package VIBB 24-30-1205 including machine, training, technical data, IUID tag, tooling, installation, machine storage, and shipping requirements will be included as a part of the solicitation. THIS IS A SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. RFQ SPE4A8-25-Q-0082 is anticipated to be issued on or around 1 August 2025. A copy of the written solicitation will be available via the DLA DIBBS website at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/Solicitations.

Proposals must be submitted not later than the closing date and time as listed. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management website (https://www.sam.gov). All proposals received after the closing date listed shall be considered “late” and may not be considered for award.
