One (1) Wire Electrical Discharge Machine

DLA Aviation intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 13.5. This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), other than full and open competition and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria.

Description of requirements: One (1) CNC Wire Electrical Discharge Machine in accordance with Technical Specification VIBB 23-40-1011 dated 13 December 2023. Performance period/completion 365 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination, Inspection will be at Origin, and Acceptance at Destination.

Destination is FRCS (Fleet Readiness Center Southwest), NAS North Island, CA 92135. The complete technical data package VIBB 23-40-1011 including machine, Tooling, Accessories, IUID, Shipping, Installation, Training, and Technical Data will be included as a part of the solicitation. RFQ SPE4A8-24-Q-0014 is anticipated to be issued on or around 15 March 2024. A copy of the written solicitation will be available via the DLA DIBBS website at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/Solicitations. All responsible sources may submit a proposal sufficient to determine capability which may be considered by the agency. Proposals must be submitted not later than the closing date and time as listed.

All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management website (https://www.sam.gov). All proposals received after the closing date listed shall be considered “late” and may not be considered for award.
