BOLT,MACHINE - Z9N/AIRCRAFT, F/A-18, A - D, E/F, G (GROWLER)

This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term contract which will include NSN 5306-01-564-3366, Bolt, Machine to support the weapon system Z9N/ Aircraft A-D E/F, G (Growler). First Article Testing by Government and Production Lot Testing by Government applies. This item is being procured in accordance with the following approved source: Avibank Mfg. Inc., CAGE 84256. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2).

This is a Source Controlled Item and Procurement Note L22, Restriction of Alternate Offers for Source Control Item applies. The proposed contract will be for a total 5-year period of performance to include a 1- year base period and four, 1-year option periods. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort.

The proposed contract will be a fixed price Indefinite Quantity Contract iaw FAR 16. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet id Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP.
