SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.
AMENDMENT 01: The following Addendum is being issued for the subject Request for Quotation: #356905_DiamondSubstrate Change to Technical evaluation criteria: #3. 2*5 grating on each substrate, 1x4 area for 2?m pitch, 1x4 area for 1?m pitch, 2x1 for 4?m pitch). The duty cycle variation: from 35% to 50% with a step of 5% for the gratings with 1?m and 2?m pitch; and 40%and 50% DC for 4?m pitch.
At the top of the grating, the pitch should be within 5% as compared to that of the nominal value Proposal updates need to be submitted no later than COB (4pm PST) 7/7/25. This Addendum modifies the Request for Quotation and must be acknowledged. Failure to acknowledge all addenda could make your proposal non-responsive. Please confirm that the submitted proposal is not changed because of this addendum. If proposal sent is revised because of this, please submit the revised proposal.
The following changes are hereby made to the appropriate documents contained the above-mentioned Request for Quotation (RFQ). All other terms and conditions of the RFQ remain the same.

Linear diamond gratings 2x5 gratings on one substrate with – QTY: 1 two pitches:
Pitch 1: 1000 nm Pitch 2: 2000 nm Pitch 3: 4000nm Grating depth: 4 lm guaranteed, >5um on a best effort basis Each grating has an area of -1 mm x 0.5 mm Location according to communicated. Quote is for product only; no on-site services permitted. Source selection will be based on Lowest Price and Technically Acceptable Method (LPTA). Technical evaluation criteria are as follows:
single diamond substrate 10 mm by 10 mm by 100-micron thickness grating height >4 micron 2*5 grating on each substrate, 1x4 area for 2?m pitch, 1x4 area for 1?m pitch, 2x1 for 4?m pitch). The duty cycle variation: from 35% to 50% with a step of 5% for the gratings with 1?m and 2?m pitch; and 40%and 50% DC for 4?m pitch. At the bottom of the grating, the pitch should be within 5% as compared to that of the nominal value grating period accuracy <2 nm each grating area is 1 mm by 0.5 mm.
Orientation of grooves is parallel to 1 mm edge of the grating with error <1 milli-degree. Please provide a price and lead time quotation by COB 7/4/2025. If possible, please provide a link to your webpage for published price list to substantiate for the prices quoted. Buy American Act Certification (BAA) applies to awards that are over $10,000. Representations & Certifications Rider is required. Once completed the Reps and Certs is valid for one year until renewal. If you have already completed one within the year please disregard. Otherwise, please complete and return. All subcontractors are required to register in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov).
The resulting purchase order will be issued on a fixed price basis. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Terms and Conditions for Fixed Price Commercial Supplies and Services (Rev. August 2023) will be made a part of the resulting order. Payment Terms will be NET-30 (SLAC is unable to do advance payments and or Prepayments). Freight terms will be FOB Destination Prepaid and Add You are requested to mark and identify proprietary/confidential information provided in response to the solicitation.
