SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management, and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.
SLAC has a requirement for a U.S. domestic end item source of the following product: LI#1. Qty 1 (HCP421V-PM-mK2000 HCP421V-PM Hot and Cold Mini Probing Plate, with rough vacuum-tight) LI#2. Qty 1 (Add Aperture Add an enlarged Ø5mm transmission aperture to mini probing stage plate; changes stage configuration (HCP421V-PM-->HCS421V-PM). Includes Ø20mm x 1.0mm quartz window for a Ø16mm bottom window aperture. LI#3.
Qty 1 (Liquid nitrogen (LN2) 4-stage pump system with 3L Dewar compatible with Instec temperature controllers and stages/chucks/plates. Manual or controlled by mK2000. Universal input voltage. Enables HCS421V-PM to cool to -190C) LI#4. Qty 1 (CW3000 heat exchanger for HCS421V-PM frame cooling, 115V input voltage, manual on and off.) LI#5. Qty 2 (WINDOW - Soda lime glass windows for top and bottom of HCS421V-PM 1 x WG1-R0200-T05 1 x WG1-R0220-T10) LI#6.
Qty 1 (Custom Mounting Adapter for HCS421V-PM mounting to a microscope stage. Please provide a mechanical drawing of the microscope stage when choosing this option) The award will be made based upon the Lowest Price acceptable method. Marking of Proprietary/Confidential Information. Offerors shall properly mark and identify with a restrictive legend or information markings on pages of the proposal that contain Proprietary/confidential information.
For Offeror to be eligible for a subcontract award with the University and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Offeror shall be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). Entities may register at no cost directly at the SAM website: https://www.sam.gov.
The resulting purchase order shall be performed in accordance with SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory's Terms and Conditions for Fixed Price Commercial Supplies, and Services dated August 2023 NOTE: The following documents are attached in this solicitation.
