SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. The follow has been attached for you to complete and review: 1.) (BAA) Buy American Act Certification 2.) Reps and Certs-Rider 4.) FP Commercial Supplies-Services T&Cs (March 2022) Required item(s) listed below:
1. Qty: 1 - TERASCAN 1550. Frequency-Domain Terahertz Spectroscopy Platform with TeraBeam 1550 + lnGaAs Antennas Quote is for product only; no on-site services permitted. Source selection will be based on Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Method. Technical evaluation criteria are as follows:
1. Light source produces CW THz free space emission.
2. System is capable of spectroscopy by including frequency-sensitive coupled receiver. Dynamic range for spectroscopy of at least 60 dB 3. Source includes linearly polarized photo-conductive antennas for linearly polarized light. 4. Difference frequency tuning 0-1.2 THz or greater 5. Turn-key operation, class 1 lasers. 6. THz output of at least 10 microwatts Please provide a price and lead time quotation by COB 5/22/2024.
