Notice of Intent to Sole Source AICPA Conferences on Current SEC and PCAOB Developments and Accounting, Financial Regulation, and Industry

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), of Washington DC, intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with statute 41 U.S.C. 1901 and FAR subpart 13.5 , "Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services".

The SEC, intends to enter an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with fixed-price orders with the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) of Washington, DC, for the procurement of a catalog of conferences covering topics relevant to Accounting and Financial Professionals handling government, public company and financial services entities accounting issues.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any small-business firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer in the form of a capability statement.

Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed and must be furnished to the point of contact listed below by 12:00PM noon ET August 22, 2024. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Questions should be directed to J.
