Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract for 8 Encryption Devices to Viasat, Inc.

The Space Development Agency (SDA) intends to award a sole source contract to Viasat, Inc. of Carlsbad, CA to purchase eight (8) KG-142 1 x 10G crypto units and associated cables. This cryptographic hardware will be utilized in support of SDA's Proliferated Warfare Space Architecture. The required delivery date is 120 days after contract award. The estimated contract value is $523,000.

This contract award will be made under the authoirty of FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements (10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1)). This is NOT a request for competitive proposals and is published for informational purposes only.
