The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Elkton, Ohio intends to issue a solicitation for the requirements of:
MEAT. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, delivery date is estimated to be between January 7, 2026, and January 31, 2026. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution Elkton-Food Service Warehouse, 8730 Scroggs Road, Lisbon, OH 44432. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards.
The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, which is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 25, 2025 and will be posted to www.beta.SAM.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site.
Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is December 5, 2025 at 10:00 am. EST. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
