Weekly Dry Ice Supply and Delivery Services

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Human Foods Program (HFP), Office of Laboratory Operations and Applied Science (OLOAS), requires weekly delivery of dry ice to support laboratory testing, scientific research, regulatory activities, and other mission-critical laboratory operations across multiple HFP offices. 301-796-3940 Section 1: Description The purpose of Amendment 0002 to RFQ-FDA-134493 is to cancel the solicitation in its entirety, effective immediately. No further quotations will be solicited, accepted, or evaluated under this solicitation number, and no award will be made under RFQ-FDA-134493.

Section 2: Basis for Cancellation The Government has determined that cancellation of this solicitation is appropriate for two reasons: (1) the requirement, as written, requires further internal review and revision before it can be competed; and (2) proceeding to award under the solicitation as currently written would not be in the Government's best interest. This cancellation is issued under the Government's right, reserved at RFO 52.212-1(d), Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Products and Commercial Services, to reject any or all offers when such action is in the public interest. No purchase order or contract has been awarded or accepted under this solicitation.

Section 3: Effect on Offerors Any quotations already submitted in response to RFQ-FDA-134493 will not be evaluated and will not result in award. No further action by offerors is required. Offerors will not be charged any fee or penalty as a result of this cancellation, and the Government assumes no liability for costs incurred by offerors in preparing or submitting quotations. Except as cancelled herein, this notice supersedes RFQ-FDA-134493 and Amendment 0001 in their entirety. No further amendments, questions and answers, or solicitation actions will be issued under solicitation number RFQ-FDA-134493.
