Install Two 20" Butterfly Valves in water supply line for Motor Generator Water Cooling System

Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), a National Laboratory and Federally Funded Research and Development Center (RDC) located in the vicinity of Princeton, NJ and operated by the Trustees of Princeton University, a US Department of Energy Prime Contractor wishes to notify all interested and capable firms of providing industrial plumbing services. .PPPL is soliciting proposals from qualified suppliers to provide all labor tools, materials and supervision necessary to furnish and install (2) new 20” butterfly valves in the existing Tower Water System at PPPL.

The valves furnished and installed by the contractor must meet the valve specifications listed in the Statement of Work (SOW). The entire scope of this SOW must be completed by the end of May 2024. Specific requirements for the services can be found in the Statement of Work titled "Installation of New MG Tower Water Supply and Return Valves, dated 8 Jan 2024” PPPL contemplates award of a firm fixed-price subcontract.

Subcontract award, if any and at PPPL's sole discretion, will be made to the qualified and responsible Offeror submitting a technically acceptable proposal as the basis for award.

The applicable NAICS code is 238220, Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioner Contractors A pre-proposal zoom conference meeting has been scheduled for 12 March 2024. In addition, a "mandatory" site visit has been scheduled the follwing morning on 13 March 2024. Failure to attend the mandatory site visit will render your firm ineligible to participate in this solicitation.
